CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Nueces County officials took to Facebook shortly after noon on Wednesday to showcase a litter of adorable "pups" they believe were abandoned on the beach that morning.
In less than four hours, all six puppies are in the process of being adopted, according to Nueces County Coastal Parks Director Scott Cross.
The dogs-- which are thought to be Golden Retrievers-- look healthy and could even be eligible for free initial vaccine rounds and spay/neuter services for those interested in adopting.
The person who abandoned the puppies has been identified, according to Animal Services officials.
