CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Monday the Nueces Organization Benefiting Livestock Exhibitors or NOBLE, hosted a golf tournament to kick-off the livestock show on Jan. 19.
Jeffrey Hunt with NOBLE, said the group was created 12 years ago and typically brings in about $15,000 to $25,000 from events like this to help support livestock show participants.
"At the end, when the sale is for the market show...we use monies to bring up the kids that don't have buyers, that need a little extra money in their pockets to help them down the road when they go to college or trade school," Hunt said.
KIII will be continuing our longtime tradition and going live from the Nueces County Livestock Show Jan. 19 on 3NEWS at 5 and 6p.m.
