CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — 3NEWS is wishing a very happy birthday to Elsie Hots as she turns 104 years old.
Elsie was born in Germany and came to America when she was only 4 years old.
She lived in Illinois most of her life but moved to Texas in 2008 to be closer to her children.
Elsie has 6 children with 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren!
She loves her plants and enjoys playing bingo.
3NEWS asked Elsie what is her secret to make it to 104 years...
"I don't know that secret," Elsie said. "Maybe God has it in his hands and he will tell me when I go that's what I'm waiting for."
Elsie celebrated her big birthday party at Waterford Assisted Living on Esplanade.
All of us here at TV-3 are sending her more happy years ahead.
