CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Hilda Ann Adame remains in the Nueces County Jail for the death of her 22-month-old daughter who was left in a hot car Tuesday.
Adame told Corpus Christi Police Department investigators she forgot to take her daughter to day care before heading to her job, which is based out of Tom Browne Middle School, at 8 a.m.
She went to her car and found the toddler at around 1 p.m.
Adame's attorney filed a motion Friday to reduce her $200,000 bond for the charge of abandoning and endangering a child with imminent danger, arguing it is excessive.
She also faces a charge of serious bodily injury to a child.
