Hundreds 'March for our Lives' in downtown Corpus Christi

People rallied together at Sherill park demanding stricter gun laws.Bailey Kasprzyk, a Ray high school junior and one of the organizers of the event said she just wants to feel safe in class again.

Something like a fire alarm going off easily raises her anxiety.90-year-old Roger Bateman, a Vietnam war veteran, said he was compelled to show his support because of his nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Bateman said, "They deserve better than what we're getting right now, and I feel bad my generation and even my children's generation couldn't do something about this problem, and I just want to do what I can to support change".
