CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Students at Incarnate Word Academy got the opportunity to acquire memorable skills.
Teachers at IWA hosted various learning activities for Rock Your School Day, including dancing, painting classroom windows, creating apps, and more, all with the aim of helping students make the most of their school day.
"Rock Your School is a really fun activity or a fun day for the kids we get to do a lot of hands on things for the kids and kinesthetic learning is just very important," said IWA teacher Kelly Ramirez.
Principal Marci Levings said the day is something that she's become really proud of at the school. She said being able to bring the joy of learning to life for students is part of her goal to get them to love education.
