The Beeville Independent School District announced Tuesday via Facebook that they will have increased law enforcement presence due to a "vague threat" that was not directed toward any of their campuses.
According to their Facebook post, BISD said a vague threat was received by the Karnes City Independent School District against an unnamed school in the area. Even though the threat was vague and came from social media, the district is taking extra precautions to make sure that students, staff and faculty are as safe as possible.
BISD stressed that the threat was not directed against their campuses and that the increased law enforcement presence is there out of precaution. You can read their original post below:
