CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A natural gas pipeline project coming to South Texas could soon be completed ahead of schedule.
The Kinder Morgan project is a 450-mile pipeline that runs from west Texas to the Agua Dulce area. It will disburse oil to shipping points on the Gulf including Corpus Christi.
The completion date was originally slated for Oct. 1 but it could now be as soon as the end of September. The $1.75 billion pipeline project is expected to generate $35 million in specialty taxes to local governments.
