CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Corpus Christi FC Sharks soccer team is preparing for their first game of the season! Coach Manuel Iwabuchi told 3NEWS that he believes the Sharks are a great option for sports fans looking to support a strong team with plenty of entertaining and athletic flair.
The first league game kicks off this Saturday at Cabanis Athletic Complex at 7 p.m.
For those who are unfamiliar with the team, Coach Iwabuchi said the club is currently playing at the highest level possible for a nonprofessional team- a status threshold that he plans to eventually cross.
UK-born player Morgan Miller said it's his third season playing for the coach, and he is excited for fans to see what they have in store this Saturday.
The first two games of the season will be played at home on May 11 and May 18.
