CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Bishop police have arrested a 41-year-old Victoria man for allegedly inappropriately touching a juvenile at a school sponsored athletic event Friday night.
Both police and constable deputies responded to the 100th block of Badger Lane for a report of indecent assault.
Officers spoke with the juvenile victim and a witness, who stated an adult male made intentional and inappropriate physical contact with the victim.
The suspect, later identified as 41-year-old Douglas Zelkowski of Victoria, was charged with indecent assault and was placed in the Nueces County jail.
The Bishop Police Department says that all suspects are presumed innocent, until proven guilty in a court of law.
Additional criminal charges may be filed.
