ALICE, Texas — A high-speed chase through an Alice, Texas, neighborhood Wednesday morning ended with one man's arrest outside St. Joseph Catholic School.
According to deputies, 33-year-old Amador Garza Jr. violated a protective order after he was allegedly trying to meet up with a family member at the Catholic school.
When police tried to pull Garza over he sped off, leading law enforcement on a chase.
Garza was arrested and taken to Jim Wells County Jail where he remains Wednesday night in lieu of a $2,000 bond.
