CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Good news for golf lovers!
The Gabe Lozano Golf Center is now open to the public. They kicked off their grand opening in style Tuesday night with drinks, snacks and party favors.
It was a celebration worth having for the 4 million dollar, 41-acre remodeling project that included upgrades to the executive nine-hole course.
Drainage issues were fixed along with an expansion of the driving range and adding night golf to the Coastal Bend!
"That is a recent addition to the project," Foresight Golf Chief Operating Servant Ed Miller said. "It's one that we're really excited about because wherever this has been done, it extends the hours into the cooler time of the day."
That means those working a 9 to 5 will still have a chance to meet for tee time!
Being able to serve even more members of the community is something developers kept in mind when making plans to revitalize the space.
"It's hard to have the words to describe how happy we are that we have this now at the facility," Miller said. "Not only is it going to take really good care of our constituents, our existing customers, it's going to create new customers and it's going to bring people from all over the state of Texas to come and experience the firefly golf course under the lights at night."
The last available tee time will be at 11 p.m. at night, so visitors can now make plans to party in full swing until the early hours of the morning.
