Corpus Christi (KIII News) — Election results were still on the mind of many Coastal Bend residents Wednesday, especially some who reported having issues while voting.
According to the Texas Election Protection Coalition led by Common Cause Texas and the Texas Civil Rights Project, there were reported issues in various counties in regards to voting, including Nueces County. The top issues for voters was voting machines and e-poll books not working.
In Corpus Christi, there was a report of a voter going to one site where all the machines were down, then learning the next site they went to had only one voting location.
"That's the first I'm hearing of that, but to the best of my knowledge, no that did not happen," Nueces County Clerk Kara Sands said. "Now there are glitches. Again we had 84 vote centers, and people were able to vote."
Currently, there are no reports of any voting issues in Corpus Christi.
