CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Robstown High School band took part in this Christmas tree forest celebration over at the Johnny Calderon building Friday.
This is the second year for the display.
Each tree is decorated with a different theme to usher in the holiday spirit.
Nueces County Pct. 5 Constable Oscar Mendoza helps put on the event and says it's a way to honor the meaning of the season.
“It’s just something that -- something fun to bring the departments together and have some fun,” he said.
The Christmas tree forest also provides a bit of healthy competition for folks at the Calderon building.
The tree with the most votes for best-decorated gets bragging rights for the year.
