CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A single vehicle rollover crash has sent one woman to a local hospital this morning. The crash happened in the 2700 block of Ocean Drive near Cole Park.

Officers arrived and found a flipped pickup truck with a 41-year-old driver pinned inside. CCFD got the woman out and she was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers determined that she was traveling north on Ocean at a high rate of speed and failed to maintain a single lane of travel before leaving the roadway. The pickup struck a tree and flipped, landing on its side.

The driver was not cited.
