CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Another Sunday, another chance to give back!
As a proud partner of the Coastal Bend Day of Giving fundraiser, KIII's Domingo Live is counting down the weeks until the Coastal Bend Community Foundation's biggest annual tradition rolls back around on Nov. 14, 2023.
For its 15th year, the Coastal Bend Day of Giving will raise money to help fund more than 60 local nonprofits that serve a vast array of causes and communities across the Coastal Bend.
KIII, a proud partner of the Day of Giving campaign, will feature a spotlight interview with a participating nonprofit every week on Domingo Live leading up to the day of the fundraiser.
Agape Harbor's Christina Jinsky joined us on Domingo Live to introduce our viewers to her organization, its mission and how folks can support it on Day of Giving.
As Corpus Christi's only faith-based child placing agency, Agape Harbor aims to license loving families for adoption and foster placement across the Coastal Bend.
Whether it be a potential foster parent, staff member or mentor, Agape Harbor ensures that everyone involved in their program is thoroughly trained to provide a safe, welcoming environment for the children in their care.
Adults interested in becoming a foster or adoptive parent to a child in need can learn more about Agape Harbor's orientation and training processes at the link here.
You can help support Agape Harbor's mission and others across the Coastal Bend by donating online to the Coastal Bend Day of Giving fundraiser on Nov. 14 starting at 12 a.m. CST. Early donations will also be accepted during the fundraiser's Early Giving donation period from Nov. 6-13.
Further information and updates about the 2023 Day of Giving fundraiser can be found on its official website and social media pages.
