CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department is actively searching for a suspect and a vehicle after a man was discovered dumped on the side of the road.
Police discovered the man around 5 a.m. on Thursday on County Road 303 in Orange Grove. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and was subsequently transported to Spohn Shoreline, where he remains in critical condition.
Officials are now asking for the public's help in locating a black 2007 Ford Expedition. Police said the vehicle was purchased at a police auction and has faded police lettering on it.
If residents have any information, they are encouraged to call 361-668-0341.
