CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — CCPD says the roadway has been reopened following this morning's crash.
The southbound lanes in the 1700 block of Ennis Joslin were expected to be closed for some time.
AEP crews were out on the scene plan on restoring power to the nearly 300 residents without power by 10 a.m. The crash happened just before 3 a.m. Tuesday and Omar Lopez, a spokesman for the power company, said around 1,200 customers were affected.
Drivers were asked to seek an alternate route.
There was a crash in the area police continue to investigate. A truck traveling southbound lost control and rolled over several times-- hitting a power pole and around 80 feet of fencing.
The driver was taken to the hospital.
