As the cold front made its way into Corpus Christi on Monday morning, winds may have played a part in power outages around the city, the largest that affected more than 1,400 people near Kostoryz and McArdle roads beginning at 2:30 a.m.

According to the AEP-Texas power outages map, it has since been resolved.

Other much smaller outages also were scattered throughout the city.
