CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Tx-DOT's Premont Relief Route project is tackling the 2-81 entrance and exit ramp along to 8th Street Tuesday for drainage work.
The 1-81 Northbound exit ramp to 8th will also be closed for work.
The project enhances safety by removing high-speed interstate traffic from low-speed urban traffic.
This is the last phase of construction and should wrap up by summer.
