CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Even though we are one month in, we are still just at the beginning of what is expected to be an active hurricane season.
The CC Dog Mama Miranda Ysassi and local furr-lebrity Ralphy joined 3NEWS First Edition to talk about how you can prep your four-legged family members for hurricane season.
If you are needing or choosing to evacuate before a severe storm here are a few things Ysassi said you should plan to pack for your pets:
- An updated photo of your pet - in case your pet accidently escapes
- Updated vet records - in case you need to see a vet out of town
- Food
- Treats
- Medication
- Blankets
You can find The CC Dog Mama's full pet disaster plan here.
