CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Art Museum of South Texas board member Nelwyn Anderson recently passed .
Funeral services were held Saturday at the First United Methodist Church.
Anderson is remembered for her love and appreciation of the arts and being involved in our community.
She has a gallery in her name at the Art Museum of South Texas. The Anderson Gallery showcases Chicano art and selections of pre-Columbian pottery.
Anderson left a big legacy, educating many and sharing the appreciation of the aesthetics of art and South Texas culture.
