CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Rockport received a big honor Wednesday as the Clean Beaches Coalition dubbed Rockport Beach a "Blue Wave Beach".
That title means they have received national certification as a litter-free beach from the Clean Beaches Coalition. Rockport Beach is just one of three Texas beaches to get that recognition.
The beach also got a special mention for being handicap accessible and family friendly.
