CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi native and spokesperson for the family of Felix Longoria, Sara Posas has died at 95 years old.
Posas was in her early twenties, when according to them, she was instrumental in having her brother-in-law Felix Longoria—a decorated Mexican-American soldier—buried at the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
Initially, they would not allow him to be buried in his hometown of Three Rivers, despite having fought in World War II.
That's when Dr. Hector P. Garcia got involved...a case that would make national news.
Posas's obituary sharing, "she believed in always doing the right thing."
