CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The 14th Annual Souper Bowl is set to kick off Thursday. This unique event brings together two nonprofit organizations in the Coastal Bend community. Purchasing a ticket directly supports the Coastal Bend Food Bank and the Art Center of Corpus Christi.
You can vote for your favorite soup, and you will even leave with one of 800 unique bowls made by the Art Center Clay Studio! Your ticket gets you one bowl, but you can buy additional bowls for $25 each.
Several local restaurants have donated their best soups for you to taste and choose from. Over 20 soups will be available to sample, taste and enjoy. Event organizers say that you can sample as many as you like and then vote for your favorite!
There will be a wide variety of soups, including some vegan options!
