Special Olympics Texas is gearing up for their upcoming Spring Games. It was announced Tuesday that this year's Games will be held Saturday, April 8.
Over 500 athletes from all around South Texas are participating in the track and field events. The Games will be held at Flour Bluff Stadium. The opening ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. and the competition is expected to run until 3 p.m.
