CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The St. Helena Church is hosting a food pantry giveaway on Wednesday, Aug. 28 for those in need of food. Those who attend will be able to drive up to the facility and receive what they need. Organizers will hand out food until supplies are gone, which is usually between 2-2:30 p.m.
The food giveaway will take place at 7634 Wooldridge Road from 1- 3p.m.
The Garcia Arts and Education Center is looking for volunteers to help with their mobile food distribution also taking place on Wednesday. To sign up --just scan the code in the video above.
The event is taking place over at the Center on Agnes off the Crosstown Expressway from 3:30-6 p.m.
