CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A fight that broke out Thursday at Carroll High School resulted in one student being sent to the hospital.
According to the Corpus Christi Independent School District, the fight broke out just after 1 p.m. Thursday in Carroll High School. Two students were involved and one of them was rushed to Driscoll Children's Hospital after officials said he head slammed against the floor.
Police have not revealed the extent of the student's injuries or the cause of the fight.
CCISD officials said it is likely that both students will face disciplinary action.
