CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Parents listen up-- the school year has about a month left-- and registration is open for select summer camps.
First-- there are youth sports camps. These camps will run from Jun. 3- Aug. 1 for those ages 6-8.
Sports include basketball, volleyball, soccer, cheer, and football.
Kids can also join a basketball league for boys and girls ages 6 to 13. The season begins Jun. 10. This will take place at the Corpus Christi and Ben Garza gyms.
But if that is not soon enough. starting Wednesday through May 22, children can attend free self-defense classes.
These give kids an opportunity to learn important life skills and techniques to protect against potential attacks.
