CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Take a look at this!
Some members of our 3NEWS family found this painting of an old map of Corpus Christi while putting away some holiday decorations upstairs at the station.
There are a number of nostalgic shops and buildings that are not around anymore, like the old Ship Ahoy seafood restaurant on Water Street!
There's even writing by the illustrated Port of Corpus Christi that reads "9th largest port in the USA".
On Wednesday we reported how Forbes Magazine dubbed the port the fastest-growing port in the nation, over the last decade.
It is amazing to see how much the city has changed.
All we know about the origins of this painting is that it was created by "Robbie", as the name is signed in the bottom right corner.
