CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The 16-year-old male suspect turned himself into Corpus Christi Police Department officials Feb. 24.
He was booked into the Nueces County Juvenile Justice Center.

Corpus Christi Police Department continues to search for a 16-year-old murder suspect involved in the Monitor Street shooting that killed 15-year-old Andrew Lee Garza Jr Feb. 15.
The suspect's parents were arrested and charged with not turning over their son to police Wednesday but were later bonded out.
The boy's parents Cristal and Rodrigo Juarez were sitting in a car in front of their house in the 3000 block of Daytona for a very long time in the afternoon.
Cristal got out of the car asked that 3NEWS to respect the family's privacy when they were asked to react to charges that they were hiding their son form authorities.
CCPD's Gang Unit was also watching the couple's house.
Law enforcement officials said the couple was warned after the shooting that their son could end up being arrested. They say the boy's parents have not helped with the investigation.
Cristal Juarez said there was no proof her son did anything wrong.
Police are asking for the public's help in finding the teen.
