The roadway that comprises Dist. 4's Mediterranean Drive is anything but scenic

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Flour Bluff has a lot of things going for it -- water views, good schools, proximity to NAS-Corpus Christi and a variety of wildlife hanging around, just to name a few -- but the streets are not one of them.

That's where you'll find all of our District 4 Driving You Crazy candidates.

Over off Glenoak Drive, you'll bump along Ransom Island Drive.

Yeah, it's a street, and it will probably take more from you than you can give.

This intersection is a mash-up of different corners: wack pavement, patches and potholes all appear to be an afterthought for city planning, and grass growing in the street could make you confuse the sidewalk for parking.

It's truly a hodgepodge of what and why.

Sweet Bay Drive? Try not-so-sweet. The two-way road off Yorktown in Flour Bluff barely accommodates two cars passing.

Factor in all the potholes and loose gravel, and you'll be rocking back and forth.

So don't drive too close to anyone in front of you -- you're likely to get a ding or chipped window on this street.

And a cruise down Mediterranean Drive is anything but relaxing.

Also in Flour Bluff off Waldron Road, this residential street could definitely use some R-and-R -- repaving and rehabbing.

With its cracks, networks of small and large pothole patches making the roadway uneven and bumpy, and small but deep divots, this is one coastline you'll want to try and avoid until it's fixed.

So which of these District 4 streets gets your vote for best of the worst:
