CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Some thieves left quite a mess for employees of the Peter Piper Pizza on Crosstown to clean up Tuesday morning.
According to police, the restaurant was broken into at around 1:30 a.m., and the thieves reportedly used a large Ford F-250 pickup to break through the front door of the building.
Police said the thieves caused thousands of dollars in damage. They are still trying to determine if the case is related to a burglary that happened later that morning at Sally's Beauty Supply Store in the city's westside.
Police said the burglaries do appear to be similar to last week's burglary of the West Marine Boat Shop on SPID.
