Tuloso-Midway High School closed for day due to power outage

Tuloso-Midway High School began sending kids home just before noon Wednesday due to an outage caused by a blown transformer in the area.

Tuloso-Midway High School began sending kids home just before noon Wednesday due to an outage caused by a blown transformer in the area.

Buses began taking students home as the district closed for the day. According to the TMISD website, American Electric Power Texas is working to repair the problem and classes are expected to be held on regular schedule on Thursday.

For those taking semester exams Wednesday, the district said 2nd and 4th period classes will hold their exams Thursday, and 5th and 6th period classes will hold their exams Jan. 3.
