CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Friends and family flooded the American Bank Center to watch Tuloso-Midway High School's Class of 2024 graduate.
Excitement could be felt throughout the events center, as Warriors and Cherokees lined up to walk across the stage and into their futures.
3NEWS asked a proud mother how it felt to see her son take that final step of high school after their long journey.
"it's great seeing your work and his hard work come to fulfillment," said Norma Ortiz, whose son David Andrew graduated Friday night. "It's awesome, it's beautiful."
Other area schools' graduations will be taking place over the next few weeks.
