CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A head’s up for residents in Woodsboro: An open house will be held Thursday to collect input on the proposed improvements to US 77 -- specifically as it pertains to the Woodsboro and Refugio areas.
It's being held by the Texas Department of Transportation in coordination with Refugio County.
Some of the upgrades up for discussion include new main lanes, frontage roads with overpasses, and on-and-off ramps, enhancing better connectivity to US 183 and more.
It's an approximately 13-mile project.
Thursday’s event is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m. and is expected to last a couple of hours at the Woodsboro High School Multipurpose Center on Locke Street.
