TxDOT starting $64 million Port Aransas ferry landing project

The project is expected to take three years to finish and will focus on repairing existing structures.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — TxDOT is beginning work on the $64 million Port Aransas ferry landing project on Monday.

The project will repair existing structures on the ramp and landing of the ferry dock, including a complete rework on the bulkheads, ramps and towers.

The work on Monday will take place on the west side of the ferry facility and some closures are expected.

The entire project will take three years to finish.
