CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The USS Lexington Museum flew special signal flags to commemorate a historic day etched in our nation's history.
On this day 82 years ago, the attack on Pearl Harbor went down as an important event in US history.
The USS Lexington Museum held a remembrance-day ceremony Thursday paying tribute to all veterans and those who lost their lives.
Executive director Steve Banta said the event feels close to home for him.
"I think the most important thing is that people do remember Pearl Harbor, and one of the Pearl Harbor survivors from the local area," he said.
The Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony paid tribute to those who served everywhere and from our community.
