CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 36-year-old woman driving a golf cart was taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after colliding with a truck on the JFK Causeway.
According to CCPD officials, officers were sent just after 4 a.m. to respond to a crash at the 13300 block of Park Road 22, JFK Causeway. Officers found a golf cart and the 36-year-old female driver of the golf cart at the scene.
Officers told 3NEWS that the golf cart was traveling westbound on Park Road 22 when it was struck by a truck. The driver of the golf cart was thrown from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash is still under investigation and details are limited at this time. We will update with details as we receive them.
