CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — World atlas has released their picks for the top eight most welcoming towns in Texas.
The towns listed are listed as places "Travelers can expect to escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life." And a local town also made the top eight: Port Aransas "The fishing capital of Texas."
Port Aransas is known as a haven for fishermen and held multiple tournaments over the summer. Tourists can also enjoy the water and beaches, with parasailing and surfing as some of the town's favorite activities.
Also on the list are the cities of Fredericksburg, Buda, Wimberley, Luckenbach, Boerne, Gruene and Dripping Springs.
