CORPUS CHRISTI (Kiii News) – Many students enjoy just hanging out at the pool during their summer vacation. But some were taking a splash, and getting a leg up on their education.
Freshman at Moody High School's Innovation Academy were learning the ABC's of underwater robotics and scuba diving. That's just some of the courses available to students who made it into the academy, which specializes in science and marine science education.
There are 85 incoming freshman in the academy. The biggest number so far for the fairly new academy.
