The Moody Trojans aren't used to watching the baseball playoffs from home, but that's exactly what they did last season.
The Trojans missed out on the postseason for the first time in 22 years, and Coach Joe Curiel's bunch is looking to reclaim some of that "Moody Magic" that saw them in the state championship game just three years ago. Moody lost the final regular season game against Flour Bluff 5-2, a loss that cost the Trojans the final spot in District 30-5A.
Moody will open the 2016 at Whataburger Field on Monday, February 22nd against CCISD foe and future district rival Ray.
