3News confirmed Friday that 36-year old Billy Browning, a Corpus Christi police officer who was arrested for DWI following a crash on the JFK Causeway in November of last year, has resigned from the police force.

3News confirmed Friday that 36-year old Billy Browning, a Corpus Christi police officer who was arrested for DWI following a crash on the JFK Causeway in November of last year, has resigned from the police force.
Browning had been on administrative leave since the accident. He had been with the Corpus Christi Police Department since August of 2009.
