CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — More than 1,160 students graduated Friday and Saturday from TAMUCC at the American Bank Center, being this spring 2019 Islander commencement ceremony the largest to date.
Guest Speaker was Nueces County Judge Barbara Canals, the first woman to hold that position in the county's 172 year history.
At Saturday's ceremony, President and CEO Dr. Kelly M. Quintanilla presented business woman and philanthropist Mrs. Jessie Frances Neal with an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters.
The ceremonies were streamed at tamucc.edu for those who couldn't attend.

This is the largest Islander commencement ceremony to date.
