An elementary school catches fire even though it's been closed for more than a decade. The fire broke out around eleven on Friday night at the old Crossley Elementary building. That school was shutdown in 2001. It sits on the city's north side off of Port. Firefighters said that when they got to the old school, there was a lot of smoke coming out of the second story. Eventually crews put out the fire but no one knows what started it.
