CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Saturday afternoon, classmates of 9-year-old Neveyah Reyes were busy running their lemonade stand.
The students decided to set up a lemonade stand after hearing Reyes was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (starts in the bone marrow and can quickly spread to the blood).
The stand was at the intersection of Cedro and Ennis Joslin across from Atkins Middle School.
All proceeds from the lemonade stand will go to the Reyes family.
