A truck crashed through the backyard of a Southside home Sunday afternoon, while the family was still inside. The truck also took out an electrical pole, a fence, and several signs in the process. The accident happened a little after 3 p.m. when the driver of a pickup lost control of his wheel, and crashed into the backyard of a home on Yorktown and Dallas. No one was hurt but the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He was cited for speeding and police add that he'll be investigated for drinking and driving.
