CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A trio of players from the Houston Astros organization made their way around Corpus Christi Wednesday as part of the annual Astros Caravan.
Starting pitcher Hunter Brown, outfielder Corey Julks and relief pitcher Shawn Dubin appeared at four different stops, but only one that was open to the public. Hooks and Astros fans got to meet the trio at Whataburger by the Bay where they also took orders.
The players also visited patients at Driscoll Children's Hospital with 3News on hand. The other stops included a trip to NAS Corpus Christi and Whataburger Field for a meeting with season ticket holders.
The Astros' pitchers and catchers have their first spring training workout on February 14th with the full team starting on February 19th.
