ORANGE GROVE, Texas — Orange Grove ISD announced Tuesday that it has hired Jared Johnston as its next head football coach and athletic director.
Johnston comes over from Schertz Clemens where he served as head coach since 2012. The Buffaloes went 67-62 in Johnston's 13 seasons, including a run to the state quarterfinal in 2015.
Orange Grove brings home a 1991 graduate in Johnston. He'll be reintroduced to the Orange Grove players, fans and staff Wednesday at 4 PM.
