The Calallen Ladycats' softball team brought home a second straight state title earlier this month and Tuesday night they got a well-deserved celebration.
The party was moved indoors to the middle school due to the incoming weather, but the team still had plenty of supporters with the band and cheerleaders were on hand as well.
Coach Teresa Lentz invoked Tom Brady's Hall of Fame speech when talking about her players putting in the extreme effort to win back-to-back crowns. For the outgoing seniors like Alaunah Almaraz and Megan Geyer, it was one last hoorah before going off to play in college next year.
